Howie Long
 Howie Long was born January 6, 1960 in Somerville, Massachusetts but now lives in Virginia with his wife Diane and their three sons, Kyle, Chris and Howie. He is 6’5’’, 275 lbs.

 He went to college at Villanova University as a defensive lineman.  While playing football and becoming an All-East and honorable mention All-American, he was also becoming a champion boxer as an undergraduate.

 Howie Long used to play football for the Oakland Raiders.  He played defensive linemen.  In 1985 he was voted Defensive Player of the year Seagrams.  He was voted by the fans in 1984 and 1986 Defensive Lineman of the Year.  In 1984 he was named NFL Defensive Lineman by the NFL Alumni Association.

 He retired in 1993 and now he is a sports announcer for FOX Sports.  He also started an acting career.  His first film was called “Broken Arrow” starring John Travolta and Christian Slater.  Also, in 1998 he starred in an action-adventure film “Firestorm.”

 In 1999, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
