K-12:
- Students can write a report on juvenile crime in your community.
- Students can interview a local juvenile counselor to find out
how to get involved in decreasing juvenile crime and helping victims
in order to improve quality of life for community members.
- Students can construct an action plan to help a group of children
in your community improve the quality of their lives by reducing
juvenile crime.
Methods:
- Students will try to find literature that could help them better
understand juvenile offenders.
- Have students develop questions related to a particular chart,
table, or graph presented in the report.
