Science

The science education team is focused on finding and developing compelling examples in which technology can be used to enhance science instruction. Randy Bell, along with former ASTE president Lawrence B. Flick, have developed a set of guidelines for integrating technology into science teacher preparation. Currently, Prof. Bell and his graduate students are developing teaching materials using a variety of technologies, including the Intel QX3 digital microscope, content-based simulations, digital images, and virtual planetarium software.
